BOTSWANA LIES AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO. FROM THE LANDSCAPE AND HERITAGE THAT INSPIRES US, TO THE MATERIALS USED IN OUR PRODUCTS AND THE ARTISANS WHO LOVINGLY BRING OUR DESIGNS TO LIFE.

OUR ETHOS IS ROOTED IN SUSTAINABILITY; OUR BEAUTIFULLY HANDCRAFTED PIECES ARE ETHICALLY SOURCED AND CLIMATE POSITIVE. EACH ONE A WORK OF ART TO BE CHERISHED NOW AND FOREVER

Ferelith Moltke Director & Co-Founder

Ferelith Moltke ‘Each collection begins with listening to nature.’

Beabond was co-founded by husband and wife, Nicholas and Ferelith Moltke in 2016. Each piece is inspired by living in Botswana where they experienced first-hand the interconnected relationships between people, wildlife and Mother Earth. The duo create timeless classics imbued with meaning, each signature piece embodies their ethos of fewer better things.

Born in England, Ferelith studied History of Art and Architecture. Inspired by living slower in Botswana she co-founded Beabond. Born in Denmark, Nicholas a gemologist who worked for 16 years at De Beers held a number of positions, the last being Vice President of Sales in Botswana.

Ferelith's love of stories is inherited from her family who often shared their adventures of growing up in Africa. Beabond is named after her grandmother who was born in Africa. Her love of nature comes from living by the rhythm of the sun in Botswana for five years with a young family of her own.
