Ithute Go Tshameka

Listening to the news has been overwhelming, with Covid-19 reaching all corners of the world we have all found ourselves in unfamiliar territory, whether its working from home or homeschooling the ‘new normal’ is still having repercussions and affecting all of us.

We want to shine a light on some positive news from Botswana because we like to believe that every cloud has a silver lining.

We are donating 150 face masks

Learn To Play, or Ithute Go Tshameka in Setswana, is an NGO that enables mothers in vulnerable communities to establish playgroups.

Since lockdown with pre-schools closed they have created individual play-at-home rainbow kits for every child enrolled in their programme.

All our masks are sewn at the family run factory in Botswana, enabling us to support our team of women as well as the children who will each receive a mask with the play-at-home kit.
